1. Definitions

• "Services" — the legal consultation, document preparation, and advisory services provided by Khaolak Family.
• "User" / "You" — any individual who accesses this website or engages our services.
• "We" / "Us" / "Our" — Khaolak Family, a legal practice operating in Phuket, Thailand.
• "Engagement" — a specific service arrangement entered into between you and Khaolak Family.
• "Website" — the website accessible at khaolakq.pro and its associated pages.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By using this website or engaging our services, you confirm that:

• You are at least 18 years of age
• You have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement
• You have read and understood these terms
• You accept these terms in full

3. Service Description

Khaolak Family provides family law services including first consultations, pre-nuptial and post-nuptial agreement preparation, and adoption and recognition counsel. Services are provided primarily in Phuket, Thailand, and are conducted in English. While we serve international clients, our services are governed by Thai law.

The availability of specific services may vary. We reserve the right to decline to provide services in circumstances where we consider it appropriate to do so, including where we determine a conflict of interest exists.

4. User Responsibilities

When using our website or engaging our services, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information
• Notify us promptly if information you have provided changes
• Use the website and services for lawful purposes only
• Not misuse, copy, or distribute website content without permission
• Not attempt to disrupt or interfere with website systems

5. Intellectual Property

6. Fees and Payment

Our service fees are stated prior to each engagement:

• First Appointment: ฿2,600
• Pre-Nuptial / Post-Nuptial Agreement: ฿6,400
• Adoption and Recognition Counsel: ฿8,200

Fees are denominated in Thai Baht (฿). Payment terms are confirmed at the time of arranging each engagement. No additional charges are applied without prior discussion and agreement. We do not accept payment card disputes as a substitute for raising a concern directly with us.

Refund policy: Fees for completed appointments are non-refundable. Where a service engagement has begun but has not been completed, a partial refund may be considered at our discretion based on the work carried out.

7. Service Delivery Terms

For services beyond a first appointment:

• The scope of each engagement will be agreed with you before work begins
• Timelines are estimates based on typical circumstances; factors outside our control may affect them
• Any significant change to the scope of work will be discussed with you before it affects your engagement or your fee
• Documents prepared on your behalf will be provided in English, and in Thai where legally required

8. Confidentiality

Information shared with us in the course of an engagement is treated as confidential and is subject to our professional obligations as a legal practice. We will not disclose confidential client information to third parties except as required by law or as necessary to carry out the services you have engaged us to provide, as described in our Privacy Policy.

9. Disclaimers

The legal opinions and advice we provide reflect our assessment of your situation based on the information available to us and the law as it stands at the time of the engagement. We make no representation that:

• Any particular outcome will result from following our advice
• Thai courts, authorities, or other parties will act in any particular way
• The law will remain unchanged after the date of advice

10. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by Thai law, our total liability to you in connection with any service engagement shall not exceed the fees paid by you for that specific engagement. We shall not be liable for:

• Losses arising from circumstances outside our reasonable control
• Decisions made by courts, authorities, or third parties

11. Termination

Either party may discontinue an engagement by providing written notice. If you terminate an engagement in progress:

• Fees for work completed to date remain payable
• We will provide all documents and materials prepared to that point

We may terminate an engagement where continued representation would create a conflict of interest or where information provided to us proves to be materially inaccurate.

12. Dispute Resolution

These terms are governed by the laws of Thailand. In the event of a dispute, we encourage you to contact us first at [email protected] to attempt informal resolution. If informal resolution is not achieved, disputes shall be referred to the competent courts of Phuket Province, Thailand.

13. General Provisions

Entire Agreement: These terms, together with any engagement letter, constitute the full agreement between us regarding use of our website and services.

Severability: If any part of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remainder continues in effect.

Waiver: Failure to enforce any provision of these terms does not constitute a waiver of that provision.

Assignment: You may not assign your rights under these terms without our consent.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Changes take effect on the date shown at the top of this page. Continued use of the website or our services after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
